Vice President of Finance and Treasurer

J.R. Stevens, Jr. currently serves as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer for FemPartners, Inc. Mr. Stevens joined FemPartners in April, 1998 as Corporate Controller and had the Treasurer's duties added to his responsibilities in July, 2000. Prior to his joining FemPartners, Mr. Stevens served as Vice President of Finance and CFO for SafeCar, Inc., an armored car manufacturing company located in San Angelo, Texas. Prior to that, Mr. Stevens served in several positions over eight years with a regional retailer, Hi-Lo Automotive, Inc. These positions included Vice President of Finance, Treasurer, and Corporate Controller. Hi-Lo Automotive, headquartered in Houston, Texas, operated 195 retail locations and one distribution center in multiple states and was traded on the NASDAQ under HLO. Prior to working with Hi-Lo Automotive, Mr. Stevens began his career in 1978 - 1987 with Fitts, Roberts & Co. PC, a regional public accounting firm located in Houston, Texas, where as an audit manager, he managed audit, review & compilation engagements, tax return preparations, and litigation support. Mr. Stevens holds a BBA degree in Accounting from the University of Houston and is licensed as a CPA by the State of Texas.
